Help text
This measure gives an overarching view of the quality of life of users of social care based on responses to the Adult Social Care Survey (ASCS) for those aged 65 ad over in an area. A higher score indicates a better social care-related quality of life. Generated from the sum of the scores for all respondents (aged 65 and over) who answered all eight relevant questions in the ASCS, divided by the number of respondents (aged 65 and over) who answered all eight questions (score out of 24) - values are weighted. Only covers people receiving partly or wholly supported care from their Local Authority and not wholly private, self-funded care.
